Fire Alarm Installation: Sancroft Building, Paternoster Square
The Sancroft building is located in the centre of London, circling Paternoster Square behind St Pauls Cathedral and is in the hub of the city. The building offers 429,000 sq.ft of office space spread across 9 floors.
Smiths was invited by LJJ Electrical Building Services Contractors to carry out the installation of the Fire Alarm, Refuge And PAVA (Public Address & Voice Alarm) systems throughout the entire building. We regularly work alongside LJJ on large projects throughout London and the home counties.
We carried out the fire installation using Advanced Fire Panels and Apollo Detection throughout, linked to a TOA PAVA system on all floors. This was linked to ten master PAVA panels and ten fire alarm panels installed throughout all floors and interfaced with the PAVA ,which was controlled within a specialised Fire Control Room on the ground floor.
We carried out the refuge and disabled toilet alarm throughout all floors using Vox-Ignis controls and handsets Vox Ignis and again was linked and controlled within the ground floor Fire Control Room.
